Artist Biography
Nelson Calderón Perez Biography
Born on the 20th of August 1966, in the city of Tarma. Studied to paint at the National Independent School of Fine Arts of Peru – Lima, where he emerged in 1993 with the Silver Medal, a distiction for finishing second overall in his class. His most influential mentors can be found in “Critico de Arte”, Mr. Jorge Bernuy and Raul Alvarez. Perhaps he owes the latter for his inclination towards Surrealist Art.
